Matt is a co-owner at Advantage Sports UAE, a well-known and respected training company based in Abu Dhabi. Having many years of experience in the fitness industry allows Matt to tailor-make a unique fitness plan based on your personal training goals and objectives. My Personal Training Style:

Matt provides a fun and friendly coaching & personalized training style with results being the main objective of his sessions. Like all coaches the style used can be changed based on the clients preferences. Some clients prefer a firm approach with emphasis on training motivation while others are suited to a training style; which includes more encouragement and goal settings.

With more than 20 years of coaching tennis & training experience Matt is a seasoned professional in the sports & fitness industry. His qualifications include:

  • Tennis: LTA (Level 4), PTR (Professional), PTR (Academy Pro).
  • Fitness: Ankorr (Level 1), TRX STC, TRX GSTC, Trigger Point Therapy.
  • First Aid Certificate, UAE Good Conduct Certificate.

With these qualifications and experience Matt is well placed to provide the best personal training knowledge which ensures you train in a safe and structured way.

Matt is an all round coaching & fitness expert with emphasis placed on Tennis, strength & conditioning. Using a combination of Tennis or other methods Matt can create personalized coaching or workout plans to suit all abilities at all fitness levels.

Matt's Personal Training Methods & Kit:

A fitness expert with emphasis placed on TRX training. Matt’s equipment includes TRX, Ankorr Harness, Foam Roller and resistance bands. He also encompasses circuits and functional training but each program is written specifically for the client as there is no “one size fits all” solution – only bespoke packages to ensure the best training possible to suit your training goals.

Where can you provide personal training services?

Matt is an Abu Dhabi based mobile personal trainers. Being mobile means your training sessions can be organised around you and your training location preferences.

Do you provide a fitness evalutation before I start?

Yes. Before any personal trainer plan is started a full consultation is provided which helps Matt ascertain your fitness levels, your likes and dislikes when it comes to exercise and training and your daily lifestyle habits. This also helps to create a tailor made training plan and schedule.

As time goes on your progress is also monitored which is ideal for setting target fitness goals.

Do you provide the training equipment for my PT sessions?

Yes, you will not need any special training kit or exercise equipment. All you need is a bottle of water and a towel. The training equipment required for your personal trainer sessions in Abu Dhabi will depend on the workout plan which has been specially developed for you.

Do you provide nutritional and diet information?

Yes. An important part of exercise is your daily diet and lifestyle. In order to achieve any fitness goal some changes to your diet and nutritional intake may be required. This is based on fitness goals and the type of training you want or need to do in order to reach those goals.

Do you provide discounts for group training?

Yes. Some people prefer to have their personal trainer sessions in a group because of the motivational aspect. With this in mind Advantage Sports does provide group rates. Contact Matt (contact tab above) for further information on group rate discounts and promotions.

Can I pre-book weekly personal training times?

Yes. It is preferable to pre-book a set of personal trainer sessions if you can to ensure your preferred training times are available on a week to week basis.

What if I need to cancel a personal training session?

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received at least 24 hours before your training session in order to avoid being charged for your session. Clients who do not cancel with 24 hours notice will be charged for the cancelled session, unless already agreed with Advantage Sports Management.

Advantage Sports understands that emergencies happen. We provide every client with one free short-notice cancellation. You will not be charged for your first cancellation with less than 24 hour notice. Subsequent short-notice cancellations will be charged for the session. The free short-notice cancellation only applies if Advantage Sports is notified prior to the session start time. No shows are not eligible for the free cancellation.
