About Personal Fitness Trainer Rachel:

Rachel is a level 3 Personal Trainer from the UK. With a back ground originally in dance she started working in the fitness industry in 2011. Rachel is a fitness studio based instructor working at Fit & Flex Wellness Studio in Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

Fit & Flex is a private studio for anyone to come a get a personal feel outside of their home whether it be small groups of ladies only or one to one personal training.

With a varied list of qualifications and experience from all over the world Rachel is well placed to provide you with a wide range of personal training and fitness plans suited to your own needs and goals. Rachel’s goal is not only to provide you with right tools for your training but also the right mentality to enjoy your training.  Pre and Post Natal Pilates in Abu Dhabi, HIIT, Dance, Kettlebell Training and general body conditioning with weights – these are just a few of Rachel’s training styles.

Rachel's Certifications & Personal Training Experience:

Rachel is experienced in a wide range of health and fitness areas:

  • Level 3 Personal Training qualification
  • Pre and post natal training
  • More than 5 years experience in the fitness industry
  • Qualifications recently gained are TotalBarre and modified Olympic lifting
  • Studying for her advanced diploma in Nutrition and weight management

Currently Rachel takes small group training sessions for Mums and Mums to be as she is pre and post natal qualified in the UAE.

Rachel's Training Specialities:

With a background in dance and teaching group classes Rachel loves one to one but also really enjoys working with group training. Whether it is something fun like a dance class teens or something a bit tough like a group circuit training class she will always adapt to what the group or client to ensure they enjoy and get the most from their sessions.

Rachel's Personal Training Methods & Equipment:

Rachel style of personal training is functional and strengthening, preparing your body to make everyday life easier. Using a range of ideas that focus a lot on core stability, she loves to involve kettlebells, barbells, resistance bands as well as to get her clients boxing. To provide additional elements she also includes stretching, Pilates and foam rolling and use of the Reformer Pilates machine into her training plans – she knows that added recovery for the body will help it become stronger and less likely to suffer from injury in the future.

Where can you provide personal training services?

At our branches, Fit & Flex Abu Dhabi Golf Club and Fit & Flex Gardens Plaza, both located in Khalifa City A, near Al Yasmina School

Do you provide a fitness evalutation before I start?

Yes! A BCA test (Body Composition Analysis) is run on the 1st day of your personal training – 8 week targets are then set based on your goals and test results. After 8 weeks of training, we will have your 2nd BCA test done to see progress and set new goals.

Numbers we keep a close eye on are: Body Fat, Muscle Mass, Calorie Burn, Water levels and Metabolic Rate.

Do you bring the exercise equipment to the PT sessions?

Simply: Comfortable clothing and shoes – and the belief you can do it! Rachel will provide you with water and towel and the enthusiasm!

Do you provide nutritional and diet information?

Always – a great emphasis on clean, simple and delicious nutrition is offered because a good diet and exercise go hand in hand.

Do you provide discounts for group training?

Can I pre-book weekly personal training times?

Absolutely! Once we have your BCA test done we will set your training schedule ahead of time.

What if I need to cancel a personal training session?

Just give me a call, 24 hours in advance and no penalty charges will apply.

    It's my pleasure to recommend Rachel as a personal trainer, as she is one of my favourite trainers. I am still training with Rachel, and ive been for almost 2 years, our PT sessions are joyous, light and pushing limits . Rachel is fun to be around, dedicated, obviously loves what she is doing and always pushes me to her the best results !     I have been training in Abu Dhabi with Rachel Elliot for the past 7 months. I know that I would never have achieved the level of fitness and wellness if not for the personal attention she has given in my training sessions and group classes. She is very focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging and fun ! My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups / core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts. Rachel is always very encouraging and has a vast knowledge of her profession. She ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. She is extremely reliable & punctual – always set up and ready with killer exercises planned. I would recommend Rachel in a heartbeat!
