Mike is a Dubai based Personal Trainer, offering PT sessions in a location convenient for you including training at home in Dubai & also the Warehouse Gym near Mall of the Emirates.
Mike specialises in body transformations: Rapid Fat Loss programmes are designed to help the client loose anywhere from 5-8kg in a short period. This includes nutrition, training and lifestyle assessment. As well as weight-loss personal training Mike also provides training to help you increase muscle mass, pre and post natal exercise in Dubai and sports specific personal training.

With several years of competing at a high level in various sports since the late 90’s, Mike brings the experience and knowledge needed to help the most advanced to the beginner athlete. Being a sportsmen requires dedication and commitment to fitness which Mike passes on to his Dubai clients through a variety of motivational personal training techniques.

Mike has been interested in health and fitness from a young age, playing high level rugby since he was 16 years old in the UK & Europe. Competing & winning on the bodybuilding stage, introduced him to the benefits of training and leading a healthy lifestyle. Health & fitness has had numerous positive effects on his life and he is keen to share these with his personal training clients in the UAE.

Mike likes to keep his sessions varied but still stick to the tried and tested methods he has always used to get results. He uses a variety of equipment including barbells, dumbells, medicine balls & sledges and tyres depending on the location. Mike also likes to integrate elements of boxing training into any fat loss programes as this is highly effective and great fun.

Where can you provide personal training services?

Mike is a mobile personal trainer which allows him to offer PT sessions at your Dubai home in the Marina/JBR area. He can also provide your training at the Warehouse Gym on Um Suqeem Street.

Do you provide a fitness evalutation before I start?

Yes. Preliminary fitness evaluations are important before you start any physical fitness regime. With this in mind Mike will perform a full body analysis including fat percentage and BMI. A fitness assessment also allows Mike to get more information about you and what your personal training goals are. Ongoing monitoring in an important part of your personal training with Mike so before and after pictures are included to provide motivation, encouragement and a visual reference to how you are progressing.

Do you bring the exercise equipment to the PT sessions?

You don’t need any special exercise kit yourself as Mike will attend each PT session with the required equipment. Sometimes access to a gym is useful if the specialised kit that a gym uses is beneficial to your training/workout plan but this can be discussed with Mike as and when required.

Do you provide nutritional and diet information?

Yes. Based on your training plans and your personal fitness goals a diet/nutrition plan will be provided. This does differ from client to client.

Do you provide discounts for group training?

Yes. If you would prefer to work out in a group (friends, family or co-workers) discounted rates for your training sessions can be applied. Group training is also a great way to get each other motivated, have some fun in your training sessions and also stay focused.

Can I pre-book weekly personal training times?

Yes. To ensure availability Mike does ask that you arrange your personal training time/days at least one week in advance.

What if I need to cancel a personal training session?

Situations arise where you might need to cancel a training session. In these cases you should provide at least 24 hours notice of the PT session cancellation. Please contact Mike direct to cancel.

    I started personal training with Mike in August 2015. I was unmotivated and shy to get to the gym and having tried others trainers I was not confident I would get much far! After a first session together I realised that Mike's way to deal with my insecurity has been brilliant and helped me to commit more and more. Mike possesses a great experience and vast knowledge of his profession like few others in the market. My fitness has increased noticeability and I have seen great improvements in my ability to complete more cardio exercise as well as lifting progressively heavier weights. I have become addicted to the gym and always so looking forward to each PT session.     I came to Mike to loose weight and he has really motivated me and kept me fit. He also helped me out with my diet and he really pushed me to my limits. It has only been a few weeks but I already can see the difference the personal training sessions are making - may it long continue :)

    I started back with Mike in November 2015. I had actually trained with Mike years before and when I decided to go back to training I couldn't think of anyone else I would train with. I didn't think I would last long as I used to hate the gym. I did have a goal of becoming more healthy and to shape up and loose weight. A year later I have not only lost weight and shaped up, I lead a healthier lifestyle than I ever have. Mike stayed after me, coaching me and ensuring that I changed not just my diet but my whole lifestyle. His ways of personal training actually motivate you and push you to bring the best out in yourself and certainly tone and shape you and overall he helps you become an extremely healthy and fit person.

    I started my first PT with Mike in July last year at that point I was in serious need of help as I was weighing just over 120kgs and was in the worst condition I have ever been in. Everyone knows that Dubai makes people fat and training with Mike helped my reach and surpass my goals, up to the time I had met him I had tried everything and it really was my last resort to try and lose weight. After my initial consultation we put together both a workout and diet plan; I remember my first day training I could barely do one press up that's how unfit I was. 12 weeks later I had lost 14 kgs and had put on some serious muscle so my body shape had completely changed.     I was introduced to Mike by a colleague who trained with him for three years. I came to Mike with a different goal than most people, to actually gain weight. I was 61 kilos and 184cm in height, super skinny. In 3 months of training I gained 6 kilos and my body shape completely transformed. not only did Mike guide me through the workout but he also gave me detailed advice on a balanced diet that helps me gain weight while remaining healthy. The plan is 6 more kilos!!
