This is often a difficult area to reduce fat for many people. As well as eating properly what are your top 10 exercises (combined with diet) to help reduce belly fat?
As a personal fitness specialist I would suggest the only way to lose belly fat is to lose fat across the whole body – and that will reduce the belly.
You will find that the belly fat is often the last to go (especially in males), and I often describe it to my clients as the spare tyre that wraps around the waist.
Another sad truth is the belly fat is the worst location for fat in regards to health complications, so it’s absolutely essential to lose if you want to have a long and healthy life.

The Stationery Cycle
The stationary cycle (or assault bike) done in sets of 20 second sprints (Also known as Tabata style named after the scientist who first discovered it’s incredible efficiency and effects on health).
Just a few of these can have as many health benefits as much longer duration’s of steady cardio, but you have to give it 100% effort on the sprints.
When you first start doing these keep the rest as long as needed, then over time when you get fitter reduce the rest as you increase the sets.
Rowing
Rowing, this full body exercise burns tonnes of calories and is great for your posterior chain.
Stepper
Stepper, again this machine is great for either steady or interval training because you burn so many calories per minute.
Sled Pushes
Sled pushes, this is a fantastic way to combine strength and cardio using intervals and is a favorite in my sessions, and a least favorite for my clients in Dubai!
Sled Drags
Sled drags, many of the same benefits but good for the posture too.
Kickboxing
Kickboxing in Abu Dhabi and Dubai is an amazing way to burn tonnes of calories, and you don’t feel like you’re actually exercising.
Boxing
Boxing has similar benefits to kickboxing but requires slightly less instruction.

The cross trainer causes much less impact on the body since you’re always supported and can be used for both steady state and interval training.
