Abu Dhabi ‘at home’ personal trainer and CrossFit expert Isobel has been working in the personal training industry for more than 5 years. Her passion for fitness and exercise has led her to become experienced in a wide variety of personal training techniques and methods which include boot camp, health & well-being, boxing and more. As well as being an all-round fitness expert Isobel specialises in fat loss and weight management. She regularly includes CrossFit into her personal training regimes to help you achieve a fitter, stronger and leaner lifestyle. Her primary objective is to ensure all of her personal training clients in Abu Dhabi reach their personal training goals in a timely and safe way with regular monitoring of your progress.

Isobel's Personal Training Style:

Isobel’s personal trainer style will tend to be different depending on how she feels her clients work best. When clients first meet her they think they’re in for an easy ride, but, that soon changes after she puts them through their paces. Isobel creates a fun, friendly and focused atmosphere for her clients to work in. She aims to push her clients to their limits but makes sure they still have enough energy to get through their ‘To Do’ list for the day.

Personal Trainer Specialties:

Isobel specialises in CrossFit / Circuit style workouts for general fitness and also fat loss and weight management. She finds these most beneficial and enjoyable for the majority of her Abu Dhabi clients.

Isobel's Personal Training Methods & Equipment:

Isobel likes to keep up to date with all the new equipment and it all has its benefits depending on the goal. However the Kettle Bell is definitely one of her favourites with clients. She loves using the Kettle Bells and the Olympic bar (when in a gym) with her clients and also using bodyweight training exercises. To compliment her personal training sessions she also uses boxing pads, dumbbells, medicine balls and not forgetting her client’s stairs!

The majority of Isobel’s clients come to her with a specific goal to improve overall health, fitness and reduce body fat percentage. The method that she uses most is pairing Functional movements, done with correct technique at a high intensity.

Isobel focuses a lot on technique. This has proven to get the best results with her clients whilst keeping them very motivated throughout their program. Another method used is a fast pace yoga, as your flexibility is a very important factor to your overall health she tries to include this in all training programs and it is the main focus during rehab programs. As a home Personal Trainer in Abu Dhabi the training and exercise kit she takes to her clients homes are Kettle bell, Skipping rope, medicine ball, dumbbells, boxing pads. However if there is anything a client particularly likes training with it can be supplied.

Where can you provide personal training services?

As a mobile female personal trainer in Abu Dhabi Isobel can provide your personal training sessions at a location and time to suit your schedule. This can be at home or your building gym complex, outdoor, vogue fitness gym.

Do you provide a fitness evalutation before I start?

Yes, a fitness test along with a questionnaire about your previous experience, goals, medical health etc. is done on the initial complimentary consultation. This allows Isobel to tailor make a workout plan just for you.

Do I need to supply my own equipment?

Short answer – no. Long answer – no, Isobel provides all the equipment you will need for the sessions. However there are always going to be things that would benefit the a client on days she is not there. E.g a foam roller or equipment to do their own training. But none is needed in order to take part.

Do you provide nutritional and diet information?

If a client has no health issues / allergies Isobel can educate clients as much as possible and make small changes each week to their current diet, rather than giving out diet plans. Your fitness and improvements are also monitored as much as possible via a fitness app. From Isobel’s experience, this way has given her the best and most consistent results with clients.

Do you provide discounts for group training?

Can I pre-book weekly personal training times?

If you are in a job where you are unable to book a regular time slot then, weekly is fine. Although slots will not be guaranteed, Isobel would do her best to accommodate.

What if I need to cancel a personal training session?

Cancellation Policy

Isobel asks all clients to give at least a 24 hour notice period if a session needs to be cancelled. If they give less than 12 hours they will be charged. If a client however re schedules for that week that is fine.

    I tried a couple of PTs before but honestly Isobel is the best!! She helped change my body and helped me with the way i look at myself, and i cant thank her enough for that. She listens very well to what i want and what i need, and will always advise me on whats better for me. She pushes me out of my comfort zone and ensures that I am capable of doing the workouts. Most importantly she taught me how to focus in the exercises and work each muscle, and she made healthy lifestyle fun and easy, which encouraged me into changing the way I eat and make better choices. Isobel knows how lazy i am and its a miracle that she was able to make me move and maintain working out (cause no one was able to do that). P.S i've been working out for a year with her! She is the best!!!

    Isobel is a great personal trainer. She listens to what you want to achieve, she’s so encouraging and keeps you really motivated. Isobel pushes you to your limits but is always making sure that your techniques are perfect so as not to cause injury. She has a great personality, she’s really easy to get along with and she has made exercising enjoyable for me. I’ve lost 18kgs so far, I feel fitter and stronger than I have done before and I’ve made lasting dietary and lifestyle changes. I couldn’t have done any of this without Isobel and choosing her as my PT really has been life changing!

    Isobel is great personal trainer that helps her clients reach their goals. She listens to your needs and takes into consideration your bodies capabilities and help strength your physical weaknesses. She also helps direct you towards the right lifestyle, through tips for your diet and help you with understanding the importance of a balanced lifestyle. She creates a routine to shape your body goals and keep it unique and interesting which not a lot of trainers can do. Isobel really shows that she cares about clients and their progress!

    Izzy is a real professional and fun to train with. She has an upbeat positive outlook which is very motivating. She is very detailed in her approach and always insures that techniques are perfect which helps prevent injury. She is very knowledgeable and tailors personal training workouts for specific goals - strength, cardio or weight loss. She is super focused on combining training with lifestyle and nutritional choices which lead to persistent success. Great person to train with and every session is a challenge.

    I have been training with Isobel for about 2 months now, initially starting with a 12 block session. Isobel has been amazing and very professional. She puts in a lot of effort on getting the techniques right, always motivates and pushes you and regularly varies the exercise types so the body does not get into the comfort zone. I am continuing to benefit a lot from the personalized training and also the nutritional advice. It is reflected in the results. Couldn't have achieved these levels without her push and guidance. I would strongly recommend personal trainer Isobel as she will definitely help you achieve your fitness goals.

    I've been working with Isobel for almost four months now and I am very glad I found her. I was really nervous at first as I have never had a personal trainer before and was embarrassed by how unfit I was, but within moments of meeting her she totally put me at ease. We started right from the beginning, not only looking at exercise but also at my food intake, and four months later I am almost a stone lighter and can see muscles in my body for the first time in my life. Isobel challenges me in every PT session, and pushes me to the limits she knows I have it in me to achieve, even if i don't believe it myself. She is supportive of every small victory, every KG lost, every extra push up done and she is genuinely as happy about it as I am. If you are thinking about getting a personal trainer in Abu Dhabi I cannot recommend Isobel enough, I have lost weight but i have gained much more; muscle, confidence, motivation and a very good friend.

    I've been training with Isobel for a year now, and I've got to say, I'm a changed person. I started working out without having a fixed goal, nor was I determined. Yet, with her patience and persistence, I turned much more resolute and the outcome is exceptional. She managed to get my body toned, improved my muscle definition, upped my strength radically, and altered my diet in a positive way. All while maintaining the body shape I always envied. I experienced training with others but no one took the time to adjust food plans with exercise plans like her. The result of the effort she puts says it all. I'm more than happy with how far I reached with Isobel and I'm thankful that I got to be her client.

    I've been working with Isobel for over a year and have seen amazing results in that time ( lost so far 16kg ). I have never felt stronger, fitter and healthier in a very long time.     When searching for a personal trainer in AD, I discovered Isobel on UAE Personal Trainers website. I am pleased to say that these reviews on her were spot on. Isobel has one of the sunniest personalities you'll ever see! She is a lovely human being and she managed to get really impressive results with me with only a month of intensive training (4 sessions a week). I've worked out with trainers before (in Abu Dhabi and Dubai), and the experience with Isobel has still been on a different level entirely!! I have found capacities in my body that I didn't know existed. Through her daily motivational texts reminding me to work out and eat right and through sessions that are fun and enjoyable, I found myself more active, positive, and happy :) . Isobel is without a doubt the most positive and supportive coach I ever seen! Could not recommend her more highly!
