About Dubai Coach Henry

With and extensive background in Exercise Science, Dubai Personal Fitness Coach Henry has helped hundreds of clients and has been a Personal Trainer since 2007. 

Within this time he was he has also worked in Medical & Sports Science departments in English Premier League football having worked with Crystal Palace FC (1st Team& U23s) as well as English Championship Rugby side London Scottish RFU as Head of Academy Strength & Conditioning.

Additional to this he is qualified in Sports Massage, Pre/Post-natal exercise and is a partially qualified Counsellor with the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and wishes to continue his training in the future.

Using his skills he can help you maintain a healthy weight, improve your physique and also help you recover from illness or injury with sports/remedial massage and safe training.

Henry uses this experience and knowledge then tailors it to meet his individual client’s needs using a Comprehensive Science based approach to help improve people’s lives, reach their goals but also make long term changes to their health, thereby improving overall quality of lifelong term.

As an individual he enjoys playing Rugby, Football and has just started Brazilian Jujitsu and uses the gym to help him perform better for these sports.

What do you love about your job?
“I genuinely love turning up face to face with my clients every session and helping them leave feeling energised and ready to attack the day! What also really gives me a buzz is witnessing my clients make physical change and how this effects their mental health & confidence, in the past clients have told how they genuinely feel their lives have changed due to my input and this puts a huge smile on my face!”

What is your greatest motivation?
I have worked in health & fitness since the age of 17 and I have not once woken up on a Monday with the dread of going to work, it doesn’t even feel like work, I keep myself motivated by trying to stay as humble as possible and up skill myself to the best of my ability.

Hobbies & Interests?
I love playing sports predominantly Rugby and Football and sometimes attempting to play tennis. I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy a good social occasion with friends and firmly believe that life should be a healthy a balance fun and hard work. On top of that I have a keen interest in psychology and have recently started studying to be a counsellor.

1. How did you feel before joining program? Following many years of corporate life and heavy travel, I had stopped paying attention to my physical well being – general fitness, diet etc. I was not confident, or indeed comfortable with how I physically felt. During COVID-19 in 2022, stuck at home on endless video conferences I decided to do something about it. I joined a local gym as we came out of one of the first lockdowns of COVID-19 and decided to work with a personal trainer to help kick-start everything. I met Henry at our local gym and signed up to an initial program, including first assessment training and dietary plan… that was the beginning! 2. How did you feel during the program? Determined, aspirational and slightly anxious about what the program would entail. Then as I worked closer with Henry, I was totally relaxed by his approach – sharing his expertise and guidance with a really natural balance of realistic goals, motivation and fun. This was all despite the first several months being conducted remotely on video calls during lockdown. 3. how do you feel now you’ve achieved your Goal?
