We asked a female personal trainer in Abu Dhabi who is a specialist when it comes to muscle building for her tips on helping you maintain lean muscle.

  • In Abu Dhabi many people who decide to hire a personal trainer do so with the goal of building muscle. Building muscle itself isn’t necessarily difficult – some people have problems maintaining lean muscle mass whether because of their training regime or their nutritional intake. As a female PT in Abu Dhabi who specializes in building lean muscle what are your top 5 tips (training and diet) when it comes to ‘maintaining’ a lean, muscular physique.

     

    To get lean mass it is necessary to train at least three days a week and perform a high intensity workout, and we will burn the sufficient quantity of calories to obtain a caloric deficit throughout the week.

    I also recommend doing 30 minutes of cardio per day at moderate intensity, you can use the bike, walk on the treadmill or do step … this will help you increase the calories burned in your day.

    And finally, it is super important to accompany the training with a healthy diet, without excess carbohydrates and added sugars.Increases the consumption of vegetables and vegetable protein such as lentils, chickpeas, quinoa, etc.. or animal such as chicken, meat, fish, eggs…and drinks at least 2 liters of water a day.
